September 2026 GLE & CLE

In recognition of National Recovery Month and National Suicide Prevention Month, the George Edgecomb Bar Association presents its September 2026 GLE and CLE on “Florida’s Legal Tools for Substance Use and Mental Health Crises.” This program provides free legal education for the community while offering Florida attorneys the opportunity to earn free CLE credit.

Featuring Attorney Mark Astor, whose practice focuses on behavioral health law, this program provides an informative discussion of legal tools and resources available in Florida for individuals and families navigating mental health and substance use crises.

This program is offered free to the public as part of GEBA’s commitment to providing accessible legal education and increasing community awareness of important legal issues.

Florida attorneys may also receive FREE CLE credit for viewing this program. The Florida Bar has approved the program for the following CLE credits:

• General – 1.0 credit
• Substance Abuse – 0.5 credit
• Mental Health & Wellness – 0.5 credit
